Five years ago tonight I had an amazing baby boy. It was my first homebirth, and though much heat, he came into the world unassisted. It was a good thing we were ready, because it was happening that way anyway. My water broke at 7:41pm and he was born at 8:41pm. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 21" long. Perfect in every way and as cute as could be.
