T minus 3 days

Simeon is having Surgery this week to remove what the neurosurgeon thinks is an eosinophilic granuloma. Otherwise known to us normal english speaking folk as a ball of cells that formed on his skull. They will put my two year old baby boy under general anesthetic and procede to cut his forehead open. They will drill onto his skull so as to remove all of the tissue. This is to keep it from growing back. They will then biopsy the mass to make sure that it is indeed benign. I am scared to death, though trying to stay mellow. I know it is a simple procedure and he will be fine, but I can't help but worry. We will only be at the hospital for one night and then will be released, so long as there are no complications. We will be at Methodist hospital, but we won't know the time of the surgery until Thursday. This is because his neurosurgeon doesn't have his own time block at Methodist and we will just get what is left over for Friday. I will update from the hospital before and after and with pictures. Please pray for wisdom in Dr. Young and for speeding healing in such an energetic little man.
